Hello! My name is Shakira and I’m an aspiring author.

I’ve been writing since I was ten years old and mostly just having fun with it. I’ve started more stories than I can count and only finished maybe five of them. I’m still pretty happy with how those have turned out, and maybe one day I’ll get around to editing them enough that they can see the light of day.

I’m a bookseller by day and try my darndest to get some reading time in by night. As someone with ADHD it’s not the easiest, but I do try.

​

To be traditionally published is a goal of mine, but I’m mostly just interested in getting my work out there. If even one other person has a good time reading what I have to say, I’ll be happy with that.

I have a twitter that I occasionally use, but I’m not big on social media in general. I find it exhausting, but my DMs are open, and you can always contact me here.
